With SWAMI AYYAPPA GIRI

There is great power in going to the source. The source of truth; The source of light; The source of Love; The source of knowledge itself.

— Swami Ayyappa Giri

The Upanishads, along with the Vedas were written between 1500 BCE and 500 BCE. They have, and continue to inform every aspect of Advaita Vedanta, Saiva Siddhanta, Yogic Mysticism, Tantra and Shaivism. They flow intricately through Hinduism and they have influenced both Buddhism and Jainism.

The Upanishads and their revelation, are some of the most important mystical, spiritual, and philosophical texts on earth and this is an opportunity to study them as living teachings that can and do influence the spiritual growth and expansion of sincere seekers to this very day.

Six of the primary and oldest, Muihya Upanishads have been selected for the course because of their antiquity and influence in yoga and tantra. They form the backdrop of most forms of mysticism today because they are the first expressions of omnipresence in all matter, and all creation.  They are the first clear expressions of karma, reincarnation, and the expressed means of overcoming the cycle of rebirth known to humanity.
