Swami Premajyoti’s journey into yoga began in 2008 in New Zealand with the discovery and study of advanced meditation practices under the guidance of Swami Shantimurti Saraswati. The depth of this connection to ancient teaching and techniques both stirred and fueled her development within yoga. From this beginning, she completed formal Yoga Teacher training with Ashram Yoga in 2009 and continued on to become a fully trained and broadly experienced Kriya Tantra Yoga practitioner, Teacher, and Meditation Guide. 

In 2012, Premajyoti received initiation into the Saraswati order of Dashnami Sannyasins and soon after, initiation as a Tantric Pujari within Kaula Marg Tantra from Swami Ayyappa Giri.

Premajyoti holds a Teaching Diploma, a Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology and was a teacher and therapist in schools for many years before shifting to fully immerse inter her path of yoga and service. She teaches yoga Asana, Pranayama, cleansing practices, Meditation, Prana Vidya, Mantra Vidya and Yoga Nidra, as vehicles to create more strength, balance, and bliss. Her teaching places emphasis on movement combined with breath and the power of subtle energies to compliment the natural  state of the human system in order to achieve optimal health, expansion and fulfillment.

Swami Premajyoti teaches yoga Asana, Pranayama, cleansing practices, Meditation, Prana Vidya, Mantra Vidya and Yoga Nidra, as vehicles to create more strength, balance, and bliss. Swami Premajyoti teaches specialty workshops, group classes, individuals, and on holistic yoga retreats along with training Yoga Nidra Guides, Meditation & Pranayama Teachers .  She delights in introducing the joy and power of yoga to beginners as much as she loves to support advanced practitioners and teachers to extend their practice and step more fully into their Dharma – Their life’s true purpose.
