Yoga Nidra is an ancient and systematic form of deep relaxation that actively fosters profound physical, mental and emotional relaxation, and the expansion of consciousness.

It has been shown to decrease stress, release past trauma, improve sleep, lower blood pressure, and increase overall sense of health and well-being.

Adding Yoga Nidra as an offering as a Yoga Teacher, Meditation Teacher, Therapist, or Helping Professional brings an extra and deeply affective healing modality to your work.

Swami Premajyoti has been leading, practicing and researching Yoga Nidra for at least a decade. She is deeply grounded in the profound health, creative and spiritual benefits of this practice.

She draws on her extensive study of yogic practice, philosophy and mysticism with previous years of experience as a trained Teacher, and Counseling Therapist trained at Masters level, and as a long-time mentor or Yoga & Meditation Teachers.

In the area of Yoga Nidra, she has worked with groups in Yoga Studios, Retreats, Community Centers, her own Counseling Practice, Schools, and with individuals suffering from issues ranging from uncontrolled anger, eating disorders, PTSD, anxiety, metabolic issues, cancer recovery, to years of insomnia.

This area of Yoga & Meditation is one of her passions and she has seen first hand how positively it impacts the lives of others.

In this training, you will learn about:
. The origins of Yoga Nidra within the ancient yogic teachings that sprung from India
. The general processes and stages of leading people into Yoga Nidra and purpose of each
. The brainwave patterns and human psychology involved in the process
. The benefits of Yoga Nidra Physically, Psychologically and Spiritually and the mechanisms through which each aspect of the human being is impacted through the practice.
. The benefit of including a story or journey in a Yoga Nidra and the basic effective components of a Yoga Nidra story – an aspect that is not often taught.

You will be able to:
. Write your own Yoga Nidra script and deliver it to a group or individuals.
. Guide people through a full Yoga Nidra
. Describe why you have included aspects of the content of your Yoga Nidra and what it may produce for your participants.
